For the most economical
of finishes, consider the use of Melteca, Melamine, Prime or Panel art pre-finished
boards. Currently the most used surface for both the inside and outside
surfaces of kitchens the above surfaces offer approximately 140 colours
in about a dozen different surface textures.
These materials are supplied as a completely finished boards faced on two
sides which are then cut and edged within our factory using the latest in
European cutting and edge banding machinery. Edging is available to match
all surface colours and the option of contrasting the colours between the
edge and face is also possible.

Thermo foil, (the next
generation of pre-finished materials), are hitting the market with force.
Produced by several different companies they have the advantage of being
able to offer all four edges fully moulded. Facing and edge details are
available in well over 100 different profiles in several different textures.
Colours are a little restricted when compared to the cheaper pre-finished
options but the face details are what sell these doors and drawers.
Custom sizes are produced and ordered from our 3D-kitchen design system. While a little more expensive; check out our samples you will be impressed.

Painted or lacquered, distressed or plain these kitchens for some people are the best of finishes. Custom made to style, shape, design and colour. While they may not be quite as mark resistant as the pre-finished options their benefits in other areas are huge. It’s your choice for complete infinity in colour and design.
Because they are made and painted completely in house we have full control
to meet your expectations. Distressing and painting can be undertaken either
by us, or yourselves under our guidance. |

Timber, the ultimate in timeless elegance. The selection of timber species for the fabrication of kitchen doors is vast. While rimu is still one of the more common we are now using many different local grown and imported species. The days of walnut and mahogany seem to have left us for lighter colours and more striking grains.
All timbers cab be machined on site at 225 Courtenay Street and many different
styles and profiles are offered as standard. Weather solid or veneer, raised
panel, flat panel or plain panel we can offer you the choice to match or
complement your home. |
